I have been fishing with Ralph for 40 years. I have fished at all times of year (just finished fishing 2 days). He has taken 4 generations of our family and is loved by all of us. He has become family over the years. We recommend him to every one we come across who loves to fish. We live in Indiana and come twice a year, at least, to fish with Ralph.
Now that we are retired we will probably come more often. He is kind and a wonderful gentleman. He takes good care of us on the river and we have always caught lots of fish. His shore lunches are the best on the river and we think he is the most knowledgeable guide on the White. Some guides go fishing and take you with them. Ralph takes US fishing. Such a delight to spend a day on the river with him!

I just wanted to say "Thanks!!!!" for all the years of great fishing you have provided myself and my friends. It makes a big difference when it comes to selecting a guide to go with and you have earned my business for as long as I can drive from Dallas to Arkansas.
My first experience was when I was 20.... now at 43 I am able to share the White river experience you offer to other folks that I bring with me. I want to catch this guys or his brother this year!!

My family has been fishing with Ralph at Famous White River Family Fishing for a few years now and I must say it is my sons' very favorite thing we do each year! Ralph is always very professional and patient with my children as they learn the do's and don'ts of catching fish. We always catch more than our limit because of Ralph's lifetime of experiences on the river he knows all the "honey-holes" and the tips and tricks of reeling in rainbow and brown trout.
It would be hard to narrow down the best part of fishing with Ralph....perhaps the excitement of catching fish, the deliciousness of eating the trout after Ralph cleans, fillets, and cooks them for our shore lunch, or the many photographic opportunities a day of fishing provides!? On our most recent trip with Ralph in September, he intentionally took a slight detour on the river
and motored my family past an American Bald Eagle nest! We got to witness our country's national bird in its natural environment. That only added to the beauty of the magnificent White River and put the perfect topping on another perfect day fishing with Ralph. My family would definitely encourage you to make a reservation to take your family fishing with Ralph soon!
