The newest factor to affect the White River is the government's decision to increase the amount of water coming through the Bull Shoals Dam via the Minimum Flow Law. This decision will positively impact the White River fishing quality by keeping the water at a sustainable level
year-round and keeping the water cooler. Both of these factors will result in larger, healthier trout, with a higher number of them actually being born in the river. We are so glad to have the extra water, as the fish will now have the temperature and water level they need to prosper.
